And the winner is: Lily Alayne Owen
Win a copy of this beautiful book, Moon Mysteries by Nao Sims and Nikiah Seeds. I have a copy, and it's much loved. All about womanhood, connection to the moon and menstruation!

Here is a review from the lovely ladies at Luna Pads.

"Nao and Nikiah have crafted a deep yet accessible narrative, interweaving soundly researched medical and historical information with their own powerful stories, bravely shared. Taken alongside Eyan’s evocative and magical watercolor images, Moon Mysteries is a delicious dive into a new appreciation of our connection with nature, the divine feminine, creativity and the magic and mystery of our fertility cycles."   Madeleine Shaw & Suzanne Siemans, Founders, LunaPads.com

I was so inspired by this book that I took this photo, in Prince Edward Island, Canada in the chilly light of the moon. It's hard to tell, but that is a beautiful red woven baby carrier in my hands and a very ripe moon (I was menstruation and celebrating that even though we've yet to become pregnant, I have a strong connection with the moon).

I've been itching to get my hands on a copy of this book! Learning to slow down, look inward and care for yourself, especially during menstruation, is something that has been so valuable to me in my life.

One thing I'vew learned from my cycles is that everything is cyclical... and all thing come round 'again. That we are so tied in to the rythm of the world we are part of is reassuring of our place in the world.

Without my cycle I never would have carried and birthed two beautiful children.

I have called my period 'my moon time' for many years and watch the moon cycles in relation to my fertility.
